Principal's Weekly Memo for WHS
Weekly Update for WHS
December 5, 2025
Good afternoon, Westbrook High School students, parents, and guardians. Here is some current information to help keep you informed about all things WHS.
PTSO and Safe Grad News
Tomorrow morning, from 8 AM to 11 AM, the Westbrook Project Graduation organization is hosting a breakfast with Santa at the Westbrook Firehouse. Project Graduation is a group of volunteer parents working independently of the Westbrook Board of Education and Westbrook school system. This group raises funds to provide a safe, drug and alcohol-free celebration for Westbrook High School’s graduating class and also supports certain other graduation expenses that are not funded by the school. Contact Jenn Fineza if you would like to get involved. Click the Santa Breakfast link to learn more.
Poinsettia Pick-Up
Here is a quick note from our music boosters:
A big thank you to our hardworking music students who sold hundreds of poinsettias in the Westbrook area! Another big thank you to all the school staff, parents, and family members who supported this sale in a million different ways. Poinsettia pick up will be Tuesday, December 9th, 3pm-6pm, in the Westbrook High School cafeteria, 156 McVeigh Road. If you have any questions, email westbrookmusicct@gmail.com - Westbrook Music Boosters
PJ Day at WHS
All WHS students and staff are encouraged to join Connecticut's statewide initiative supporting kids battling cancer at Connecticut Children's! All are invited to donate $1 or more to wear pajamas on December 12. Since 2011, this event has raised over $4.7 million for childhood cancer research and care. Thank you to Mrs. Wallace and the WHS Interact club for taking on this cozy opportunity to support Connecticut Children’s Hospital.
