Study Hall Policy
Study Students that wish to visit the library:

- In order to visit the Library Media Center, students will be required to email me (please avoid calling, or drop ins, or sending hangout messages). nesposito@westbrookctschools.org
- I will reply to all emails and inform students if space is available, etc.
- Once students are in the library, they will not be allowed to go to another room in the building.
- If students have an appointment scheduled in guidance or need to make up a test, they should remain in study hall instead of visiting the library.
- Disruptive behavior will result in a loss of library privileges.
- No food or beverages are allowed in the library.

The mission of the Westbrook Library School Library is to be a center open to all where students and staff create a unique collaborative community of literacy that educates, challenges, and inspires. Such a media center lies at the hub and heart of the school in a way that helps students experience the excitement to be discovered in their studies. When accessing this site from home, in order to conduct research, you will need to enter your library card. Your Westbrook Public Library card number is what you will need to enter.

If you do not have a library card, then you cannot access hoopla, email me nesposito@westbrookctschools.org so that I can help you obtain a WPL card and then you can set up a hoopla account at hoopladigital.com. It's easy to register!

Libby is a free app where you can borrow ebooks, digital audiobooks, and magazines from your public library. You can stream titles with Wi-Fi or mobile data, or download them for offline use and read anytime, anywhere. All you need to get started is a library card.
